Seminar "Media and Society"

Oxford, 25-29 January 2016

The seminar “Media and Society” organised by the Association of Schools of Political Studies in collaboration with the Moscow School was held in Oxford on 25-29 January 2016. The seminar was attended by 68 young journalists, editors and media-managers from Russia, Georgia, Latvia, Poland, Ukraine and United Kingdom.

During five working days participants discussed the role of media, ethics of journalism, information vs propaganda, free media vs control, future and perspectives of Russian media and related issues.
