The seminar “Sapere Aude: Freedom of Speech, Media and Society” organised by the Association of Schools of Political Studies in collaboration with the European Studies Centre and St. Antony’s College was held in Oxford on 27-31 January 2020. The seminar was attended by 87 young journalists, editors and media-managers from Armenia, Estonia, Kyrgyzstan, Poland, Russia, and Ukraine.

During five working days participants discussed topics relating to the freedom of speech and the media, including: Media and Politics, Ethics of Journalism, Journalism under Outside Pressure, Unearthing of Secrets and Wrongdoings, Memory Wars, Challenges for the Next Generation and many others.
