Sapere aude: Freedom, Legal Consciousness, Ethics

Segovia, 13-17 June 2018

The 5-day seminar "Sapere Aude: Freedom, Legal Consciousness, Ethics", organised by the Association of Schools of Political Studies in collaboration with the Valsaín Foundation (Fundación Valsaín para la promoción y defensa de los valores democráticos) was held in Segovia (Spain), on 13-17 June 2018.

Among the key topics discussed were Democracy, Rule of law, Global Institutions, International obligations, Russia and the West, Politics of Memory, Authoritarian Regimes, Values in the Digital Society and many others.

69 young decision-makers from Armenia, Belarus, Poland, Russia and Ukraine and 25 prominent experts from the Council of Europe, Estonia, Lithuania, Norway, Russia, Spain and the United Kingdom attended the seminar sharing their ideas and experiences on the topic.
